Let's start with how Bamfaux got its name.

When we started making Imitation Bamboo pipes, that is what we called it - Imitation Bamboo - but that soon become cumbersome. The name was too long.

Calling it Bamboo didn't work either, because that was the stuff growing in the soil, not being made in our workshop.

It took some time to come up with the word 'faux' as in imitation. Then we added bamboo, or the abbreviation for it - bam.

And voila - Bamfaux was born!

Of course, in those early days, life was not too hectic. We started with one distributor and orders came in slowly but steadily. They kept us busy.

We registered the company with both our names. But, we did not stop there.

It didn't take long to realize that a website was in order. Once that was up on the Internet,

in 2007, JoeJude Enteprises was official.

Luckily for us, or because of divine providence, our company grew.

Soon we were hiring laborers to help with the load, spending our cashflow to improve the speed and quality of the Bamfaux.

And then ... Tragedy struck ! Covid hit ! Plus, we lost our computer and hard drive, assumed one website was still up, even though it was not.

Like everyone else in the United States we suffered through. After all, there was nowhere else to go but forward.

It took time - one computer - one website - one laborer - one job and then another.

Then I finaly finished learning HTML and built this website. It is better than the generic one we had and I am very proud of myself.

And yes, I know, I still have far to go. That will happen. Forward is the only way to go. Covid taught me that.

Soon, JoeJude Enterprises will again have the quality site we once had (or maybe better). In the mean time, we will put our efforts into finishing Bamfaux jobs as quickly as possible, and hire more people as needed, and grow again

into the JoeJude Enterprises that many of our customers obviously remember, with them already supplying us Bamfaux work.
