Bamfaux (Imitation Bamboo)
which is our website especially for Bamfaux.

What is Bamfaux?

I'm so glad you asked...

Bamfaux (Imitation Bamboo) is enhanced UV-resistant PVC pipe that impersonates Bamboo. From 1" (and less) thru 12" (and more) diameters and from lengths up to and including 20', we'll manufacture your Bamfaux (Imitation Bamboo) to suit your specifications and needs.

Colors range from the normal 'Original' and 'Green' Bamboo colors to the exotic colors of Red, Blue, Black and even custom coloring mixed to suit you.

We generally ship within 3 to 7 days and can sometimes speed things up because we do everything at our factory in Interlachen, Florida. Right now, your chosen Bamfaux might be sitting in our stockpile waiting for your order.

From Exhibition halls to Themed Decor and Resort Parks, Bamfaux is perfect for that artful display of Bamboo that needs to last longer than a live Bamboo stalk. It never molds, flakes or dies.

It's hollow through its length so you can place any load-bearing pole within, or use it to hide wires that keep up your display or carry electricity to your lights - whatever.

Bamfaux is pliable to a degree. That leaves the imagination free to reign and roam. Where you want a change in direction you can add couplings, T-pieces, end caps and elbows - all of which are made to mimic Bamboo. Now you can manipulate the Bamfaux into almost any shape you desire.

PVC pipe does not burn, it melts, so it's not a fire hazard.

PVC, and our Bamfaux, can carry liquids, like water, plus be immersed in water and still retain its fantastic Bamfaux finish.

Testing the Bamfaux...

Although the length of time underwater has not yet been tested, we have tested sunlight exposure to our Bamfaux. We want to know how long it takes before the finish starts to fade. A question that has been asked of us countless times.

So far it has been 5 years, and counting. Our control piece and our exposed lengths are still the same color as they were at the beginning of the test.

What this means to you is that you can be assured that sunlight will not allow your Bamfaux finish to fade. The finish, if untouched, should last a minimum of 3 years even under bright, strong sunlight.

Remember we are in Florida, the sunshine state, so you should enjoy your Bamfaux for a long, long time.
